    Last weekend( hunting/fishing)

Climate has been kind of crazy, but we decide to go for a fast dove hunt on Saturday. Doves were flying really high and fast we have lots of misses, after a while we notice they were standing in some tree tops so we decide to shoot the with the .22LR
I make a shot to a Chacha( local king of pheasant) 1 shot 1 kill, 120 meters away, doves were around 60 to 80 meters really fun to shoot( They were not white winged) These are some purple doves bigger that the white winged.
Sunday the climate gave us some ours of calm wind so we went fishing, really clear blue water close to the shore, lots of small dorados and bonitos. Around 10 am sailfish start to appear, they were really aggressive they didn’t show, they just inhale the lures,.
At the end we finish with 12 dorados, 8 bonitos and 2 C&R sailfish and one tail wrap sailfish( really sad)

Great report JP. I take it you can hunt anytime down there. How far out did you have to go to catch sails?

Thanks for all the comments, I feel really lucky that I have the possibilities to hunt and fish.
Gottaflylee, its consider winter down here, but we only have two seasons winter is called to the rainy season that last 6 months.
    Robja,
Yes we can hunt and fish year around (That’s why I love this place),
I have hooked sailfish as close as 3 miles from the cost but that’s not common, these weekend we find the at 16 miles south from acajutla, we usually use the currents and temperature breaks to find fish because we don’t have to many structures in the button of the sea. We can fin the around 45 to 50 miles from the coast.

Just let me know and we will find some thing to do.
