The last two trips have been a trial and a comedy mixed into a tragedy...

but we caught afew..Yesterday morning bait was a breeze, one cast and I'm done They were 30 minutes late so I missed the best bite, but went 3 for 8 and the snook bite we have been getting consistently at 6 to 6:30am was nonexistent. Today the people had a misunderstanding again with my boss about time or they were moron's, I get conflicting reports. I was at the slip with the boat at 4:15am, I was told they would arrive at 5. At 5:05 I see a car park on the shoulder by the entrance to the yacht club. I expected it to be my charter. I walked out to the front of the gate and signaled them to move there ass and get on the boat(nicely). Nothing happened and the in car conversation continued unchecked. I figured, must not be my guys and moseyed back to the bench IN PLAIN VIEW OF THESE PEOPLE and sat down with my diet coke to wait and curse under my breath. 5:45 rolls around and I am ready to park the boat on my back porch and take a nap. I still see that car on the shoulder...I saide F#$k it and walked up to the window and knocked on it...Hey guys...You would not happen to be going Tarpon fishing Hugh? Are you Mike? Yes...Oh, ok, when will you be ready? An hour ago...Oh sorry we were waiting for the gate to open and thought it would be around 6. Nice people, but no einstien's in the bunch......................Here are pics of the scholars.

Sorry to hear bout your misfortunes with the clients! Good fish though. I hate waiting on people and it seems like when the best conditions are right in front of you, you always seem to be waiting on someone or something! I can't wait to get a boat so if no one shows up on time I AM GONE! Great work though
