    The last 6 days

Started last Saturday for the WB Flat Bottom Girls flounder Tourney. I was suposed to be a blow out so we tucked up in a lil hole to try and stay out of the wind. Started with a few nice 18" flounders and then about 9:30 put a 7.69 lber in the livewell to take to the scale. Had her in the release tank by 10AM and went back to the same spot and caught one real nice speckle and 4 more flatties over 4lbs. All flounder this day now live in WB in a breeding tank. The speck was not so lucky. After the tourney had a friend come to see the fish at the dock, she say them and just had to go the next day. We slipped out Sunday morning to similar conditions and had 6 fish over 3lbs in about two hour then it was back to the house to watch some games. Got the call that it was going to be nice Monday and that the Gags were chewing. Well the weather was not nice but the gags were chewing. 5 of us got quick limits for 12-15lb class fish. Hand cranking out fished electric 7-3! Spend the next two days trying to adjust back to sitting at a desk and couldn't take it. Left late yesterday morning to try and see what was swimming at the jetty. Attack of the blue fish! Caught one grey trout and headed back inside. Made a stop at a place ive never fished and started to light the flounder up! After about 7 or so I started thinking of Flounder sandwiches and decided to box a few. As the Flounder bite slowed the specks started biting.....over and over. We sat and caught trout until right at dark keeping a few for my partner. What a great 4 outa 6 days fishing. No pictures of the fat flounder, my bad I was happy just to get her weighed, and the guys I grouper fished with Monday are not camera friendly. Still there are a few pics here to look at.
