Biebs, that brasilliano still runs good at the slower dead bait speeds (4.5-5.5kts)?
I assume so. I do not know much about big lures, but the smoke trail and the action of the brazillianos seem to work at those slower speeds. When we fish it, I run it on the right teaser, very, very short.

Depends on what ya want the teaser to do
Are you trying to creat a three dimensional pattern by running a dredge or a fender.. Maybe this works when the bait is marked on the thermocline or the sun is out and the water temp is rising
Maybe the fish are laying under a 5 foot thick sargaso. Would a lure diving slightly deeper than yer spread attract them? Gunga or EB
Open water and the fish are up or down wouldn't a big teaser be effective if it was easy to see while it is swimming and easy to pull in? Lunch
Different conditions call for different teasers
Teasers that dive deep can work great but can be too hard to pull in fast
I really like the attraction qualities of a pin chain over that of a squid chain. But a squid chain is easier to pull in
I run Brasilliano with a hook
My friend has about 20 blues on an enourmous johnson with a hook
