I've heard that one too LOL. The only thing I can't figure out, is how does 80 degree salt water keep a fish cool

Have you ever noticed that the hotter the locale the less ice they use on the fish? Overboard made a video a while back charter fishing on some island off Africa's east coast. Those fish they never iced! Kept them in 5 gallon buckets all day!

Thanks for the excellent holiday post!
    Merry Christmas to you two.

HEy nick - This video is from Brazil a couple of years ago. Raymond caught this 100+lb yellowfin. That fish didn't see enough ice to keep my vodka tonic cold

Hey John, thanks for the help when I was down there. I had hoped to get together with you for a cocktail, but got miserably lost in St John on that one day that I told you we were making our way to the west side of the island. Let's just say that we were on some streets that I don't think tourists were that welcomed on By the time we got our bearings it was time to head back for dinner.

By the way, there is another member that lives out on Antigua. He just introduced himself in this thread:

    First Forum and New Venture.

Again, thanks for all of the help!

no prob, Anytime shoe. Driving through St. John's can be a nightmare at best. I totally avoid it, way too many cars for this Island. I got a pm from mitch.

Shame you didn't get onto a dinosaur wahoo, they are still around. lost a big one this weekend on the wireline with a plug, straightened the hook

I had planned on putting more in the video, but I had so much footage of Nansy catching fish that I ran out of song

    Here are some...

Here is the beach at the hotel that we stayed at (Verandah)

On the east side of the island (which is the less-crowded side and is much better than the west side) there are a lot of cliffs and rocky shorelines. This is where we spent all of our time.

    Here is "Devil's Bridge"

All around the east side of the island are little areas that you can cast over to coral heads

The fishing is all done from the south side of the island, which is actually very mountainous for such a small island. This was a shot back to port when we were leaving to head out to fish.

One day we took a drive to do some exploring and ended up at Half Moon Bay for some fishing, snorkeling, and relaxing

If you look close you can see the sportfishermen.com shirt

A view back towards Half Moon Bay from the point

By the way MikeLPL- you sure are right about the wehoo tasting like wahoo...

    Here is the before...

    And after....
