I picked up a few in classic colors already - Blue/White - I can tell you that the quality of the heads is top notch.

I hope/expect them to be every bit as productive as those chrome headed devils...

One thing I can say is the inside hair is already trimmed - Tim has been paying attention.

I just need a chance to take them swimming.

Boxman..thanks for the promo! Nice of you to recognize what ive known all along petro is a great color combo. We cannot and will not take take away from the creator.

Ive' learned thru discussions and research it was created to mimick a humbolt squid on the west coast.

As many of you may or may not know, petrolero head and skirt color scheme is basically credited to Allure in Mexico. To that end they deserve the credit for creating it. However, they make it dark side down (brown) light side up (grey) with a black lateral stripe. Upside down so to speak.

Thankyou Allure! for creating a great color combination.

We however, in our lures use the dark side up light side down. The derivations of the skirts are wide across the spectrum of colors and intrepations, all being called "petrolero". Some skirts have an orange lateral stripe instead of black, some have no lateral stripe. Some are black and silver. etc. The inner skirt is usually an orange of some type, usually a bright or floro orange, but ive seen interpretations using red and pink as well. There are many lure makers using the pertrolero color scheme in their products, we have done the same using our interpretation.

For the "Hoo Machines", I think I can safely say I created the "hair" version of this color scheme, as I have never seen it before used on a hair lure, married to a rootbeer head. Ahh, but Hoo knows.
Archer will probably correct my creation theory in some way.

The Hoo Machines are up on the site and live to buy in any color combination including petrolero, (Brown and Grey ) hair. If that combination is choosen with a RootBeer head color we slide a hint of orange hair in too.

Bahama Lure pretty much beat us to the Lure gig in the store, although we were talking in depth with Admin quite some time ago about participating, just had too many other things going to hit it hard at that time. Maybe in the future after we get the site tweeks finished which are going on as I write this.

If you have not been to the site for awhile www.canyongear.com, please come look there have been some changes made and new products being loaded daily actually.

I intend to put up as an associated product with the Hoo Machine Lures, the ability to buy just the heads as I have had many requests for buying the heads only. So that will be done first part of next week with some volume discounts for larger orders of just heads for the guys that want to "hair up" their own heads.

For the life of me i don't understand this industry. Someone beat some one into a store? I guess stores only carry one brand.
I'msure you and Tim can get you in with some adjustments of products carried.

As I want to sell what consumers want. But for some reason everyone treats the net differently.

To each his own, but I beat it would be worth having in the store.
