I was reading the Box post on "press 1 for English" and I figured that him being a God fearing true American, he wouldn't mind me posting this in his forum.

I don't have to like President Bush, I don't have to agree with him---- BUT his office is sacred to every man and woman who has died or served to protect our FREEDOM.

And for taking cheaps shots at the Office of the Presidency, for offering a weak apology on national TV and then withdrawing it 3 years later to coincide with the release of a new album, I will take Pres. Bush over the Dixie Chicks anyday. You sold your soul and our troops to make a profit. Shame on you.

Natalie Mains, who apologizes and takes it back? A low life, no friend of mine !!!!! Go where you are loved, England, Iran, who cares. As far as I'm concerned, you are a traitor.

I will forgive you for being ignorant but I will never forget that you disgraced the men and women who fight and die for the greatest country there is.

Its all about record sales, and thats the bottom line.

I will never forget at the start of this incident there was a charity auction with proceeds going to our troops held in my home town in NJ. The Dicky Chicks CD drew high numbers as far as bids, which bothered me, until I saw the flames in the trash can behind the bidder!!

Freedom of speech is an integral part of being an American, but what people always tend to forget, the women and men fighting to keep that freedom alive can be very hurt by the things alot of these anti Bush, anti war people say. And that is not right. Period.

Actually, I saw just the opposite...read an article in I think Time magazine and music industry execs were saying how they had really hurt their career and then really shot it in the foot by taking back the apology. Lot of country stations still will not play their music and much of the fan base has no use for them. I hope they end up on the street begging for pennies...
