    Jim Dandy's Barta Report

First I want to give a BIG THANKS to all those that made this tournament what it is. You guys rock!!! This was my 4th year fishing it and it just keeps getting better.

Had four junior anglers on board. Fished both days in the low to mid 500's mainly in 25-50 fathoms. As you all know it was sporty out there but the kids did great. Had plenty of bites on Friday. Between the mono bite off's (5) and several misses we managed 2 wahoos and 1 dolphin.

Not as many bites on day two but still managed 2 more wahoo's and 1 more dolphin.

Each junior angler on the boat caught a fish with two anglers having 2 fish apiece.

    Final talley:
1st place junior angler wahoo 62.5 lbs. 14 years old
5th place junior angler wahoo 26 lb. 9 year old jr. female
9th place junior angler wahoo 21 lb. 11 years old
Volvo Penta Grand Slam Award Junior Angler

    1st place overall wahoo
Volvo Penta Grand Slam Award Overall

I am working on the video and will post it when finished.

Way to go guys, those were some nice fish you threw on the dock. I saw you guys carrying all the hardware back to the boat after the awards ceremony, way to get it done.

That was one nice pig of a HOO. And the smile on that kids face when he was pulling him to the scales was priceless. Way to go!
