jigging for blackfin

This is for you carolina guys. What is the best time of year for jigging for blackfins. We are thinking of putting a trip together out of hatteras and are wondering when is the best time. Is it now or end of february/march? Thanks in advance for the input.

there is one boat i know that has every day this month booked and most of next month he has had a vary good catch every day he has fished that's Capt. Scott on the Big Tahuna if your looking for some one he is your guy..............

I would recomend Jim Bowman on the Marlin Mania. We always have a great trip with him out of teaches lair

We'll let you know...Bryan Hunt and myself are heading to the stream in the morning will be there before the sun comes up and hopefully find what were looking for since there are no BFT around..Worst case will have a load of Sea Bass....
