    Jigging 4/1/10.......

Had a for hire trip yesterday with a regular customer who wanted to do some jigging. Most of the people on board were new to jigging, but we managed to get some nice fish even though we were the last boat there and the first to leave. Had to stop and fuel in the a.m before we headed offshore. After a bunch of sore arms and high fives, we ended up with a decent catch. There were some guys that were there well before us and stayed well after that loaded up with some nice fish. We ended up with a 59" cobia that weighed @ 60lbs., a nice pompano, a few blackfin(one citation size), a 200lb. shark, and lots of AJ's. We kept our limit of 5, then released the rest.

That one blackfin is a STUD! I think they fight harder pound for pound than a yellowfin.
