It's Time for the BIG SHOW !!!

That's right--- SFC, Wahoonbox & Skinny Boy are not holding anything back this year. It's time for the annual Boys & Girls Club Charity Auction and Fundraiser---- we have pulled out the Big Guns this year and are locked, loaded and ready to Rock & Roll for the kids.

You all will simply be floored when we announce this year's agenda (tomorrow). A hint was dropped by the Box about a month ago, but it was only a hint---- As in previous years, this fundraiser will be in conjuntion with the Barta Boys & Girls Club Billfish Tournament.

SFC will create a separate forum shortly for this all so important fundraiser and I promise this will be a ton of fun for everyone during the next month or so. We will do a couple of things a little different this year, so please be sure to read the top sticky in the new forum regarding posting, bidding, and donations.

For those that are new here (and don't have a clue as to what in the heck I'm talking about), this will be the fourth year in a row that a bunch of generous fishermen get together and raise funds for needy kids (The Boys & Girls Club). We (all of us internet fishing buddies) have raised over $61,100 for the kids in the first three years, and this year will beat all previous records. For two years in a row, this auction/fundraiser has been the largest single donator during the Barta Boy'sand Girls Club Billfish Tournament in which 100% of donated funds are contributed directly to the kids.

Oh, this is going to be a blast. Stay tuned and keep your eye out for the new forum:

Ok get ready for the Big Show, these guys have raised a lot of money over the past few years and it is an incredible event to attend whether you are fishing or not. This year the street will be closed off JUST FOR THE TOURNEY, that is right this year it will be even bigger, raise even more money and more kids will catch fish. So I hope to see you ALL empty your pockets to help these kids. I promise you it is life changing if you just attend and watch the joy and fun of this tournament. I will be there working and I am currently working on some sponsors to possiblly offer up some more web cam coverage at the event. That is right we are trying to add more web cams so if you can not be there you can at least get a feel of the fun of this tournament. The BIG GUY UPSTAIRS has blessed these kids with incredible fishing every year. Glenn and BOX we want to see something BIG, something SPECIAL as you all do every year.

First of all, this was a freaking great hunt with some fine people. I did not know Swancaller prior to this but afterwards absolutely consider him a friend and a hell of a guide. My good friends Glenn W and BOX joined us and a great time was had by all. So I encourage you to bid....but you are going to have to outbid me again

Marty, Mike and I are going to keep the pressure on until you put that video up of me killing that swan...it is world class. Swancaller doing his thing drawing the bird in, an unbelievable shot by me (the things are the size of 747 ) and a great retrieve by Sage....a little dog with a huge heart. BOX, dad keeps asking if you've posted the video up....I have to keep telling him no. He said he thought you were THE MAN
