Its a start...first striper of the year

For the past 3 weeks I have been down at the boat stuffing the pen with spot.....bait steeling little sons of b*tches they are.....we took a few of them for a boat ride yesterday not feeling too optimistic...we had 2 legitimate bites and came tight on one of them.....and the handle on my penn spinner promptly broke off on the hook set....fofr the record that is the second penn spinner to let me down in 2 eeks ant they are both less than 3 years old....but we broke the ice on the first go at it......i love it when PLAn comes together....its definitely more rewarding when you did the work and caught the bait to make it happen

Thanks box.....it was just as sweet as that first kiss....ahhh Jen Kilkoph...what a rack. The reel....well we will just add that to the pile of other penn junk we are sending out to be serviced....it did prompt me to splurge and I am the proud new owner of a new outfit....this little reel puts out over 20 lbs of drag and is light as a feather.
