DO TELL....
What boat did you buy? Can we assume that we'll be seeing pictures soon?
You can count on picture's, old and new. This is what I've been holding out for. I am going to take the time needed to get her "ship shape", before I put her to work. Bought a 35 Bertram, hopefully it'll be like me when I'm done (not too fast or flashly, just honest and steady). I guess you could call this my retirement plan, from the look's of it I'm gonna have to die standing up! After all the year's commercial fishing, I tried to stay away from the ocean (and did for year's) cause I knew it would win again. Made the mistake of playin around with it and here we are again. Life is a constant adventure around our home. Frank
Welcome back to the neighborhood Capt. Frank, nice to see you doing your part to stimulate the economy.
Can't wait to race you !
Why must you abuse me so? Everyone knows you're the one with the
"souped" Bertram, it's the prettiest, fastest and has the coolest Capt known to man. I'm just hoping and praying to be fortunate enough to get alittle warmth from all that sunshine around you! It's kinda surreal though, I said I wouldn't do it again. No worry's, just another chapter in what has been an enjoyable life so far. Frank
Congrats on the new addition Frank. Looking forward to seeing her someday. All the best with your new adventure...![]()

Best of luck with the Bert.
I owned one (a 1982 with Cats) for 12 years fishing the canyons off NJ and she never let us down. It brought us to and back from many memorable fishing trips.
The boat is still in service in somers Point!

Frank,
A classic boat and a class captain...a great combination! The 35 Berty is a great machine...not too big, not too small, a great six pack vessel. There were plenty of them down in Cabo and they were very popular with the fishermen.
You know my feelings about the path you have chosen, Frank. Give it your best in all ways and you will find success, which is just another way of spelling "happiness". You deserve it, my friend! Go get it.
