***Infamous Run To Our Inlet......(Video)***

Normally all my videos are fishing or hunting. I have been wanting to do this video for a while but have never had a chance. This was the first time in a while it was smooth enough and light enough to see all the channel markers and the markers placed by the captains and Fishing center. Normally there isn't enough light when we make the run. Many here and on other sites always ask about it. This is the nine minute condensed version. Yes I haven't seen it like that in a long time!! We went out the next morning and it was great no whitewater on the bar. The shallow water has pushed north on the bar over the past month you have to hug the Red cans going out and coming in at the bar....Mark

Guessing that you cut through toward the Fishing Center and then poped out be the bridge, by passing Hell's Gate.

Cool little trip. Was hoping you were going to lay a track all the way out. The water was in great shape coming in Saturday afternoon, actually saw a guy I fished with at The Point on your video as you were starting into the short-cut, Pro Sport Cat.

This guy lost power in the inlet last Tuesday at low tide. CG towed him out and I saw another CG boat heading out to assist after the tide started in. He had a slip set up in Pirates Cove that evening and didn't make it.



This shot was when we were coming in Wednesday from AR-145. The green cans are off limits in a spot or two.

You are right about the cans. You have to hug the north side as you get closer to the bar. With the curtain open I really didnt want to cross the bar. Even when it is flat at the bridge you can still have some rollers at the bar. One day I will run it with my under water setup. That will be a great video!!Mark

Yes we always run the crack. The crack starts where the entrance to the fishing center is and where the drums and poly-ball markers start. The crack empties into the main channel that comes around the Island and through hells gate.
