    Iland Teaser Chains

Looking to make a teaser daisy chain out of ilanders for this spring and summer. Going to target dolphin, sails, whitey, and the man in the blue suit. Thinking about making with five ilander inline or four iland trackers then a ilander at the end. Also thought about making a daisy chain out five iland black holes. Just wondering how much success and body has had. Which rig do you think would work best.

the chain has gotten a workout, it works very well... but the last trip, the wahoo's killed it redoing this winter, using Joe chutes stuff instead of the ilander. as far as the trackers and holes, why not, pull them and see how they run.

Caleb, we pull a blue and crystal Ilander chain everyday while charter fishing. I like five standard Ilanders followed by a small pink and purple Widerange over a ballyhoo.

I also have a chain of Ilander sailures but I have found that a chain of small Mold Craft chuggers works just as good and you do not have to worry about the hair kinking up.

Gradywhite 273, thanks for upgrading with our lures! I have started making a few dredges using our 1/2 skirts with mylar flash. They seem to really be working well! I have been using Hogy soft plastics as a trailer and they look awesome in the water. I can't wait for white marlin and sailfish season. Wait a minute, the last I heard you were in sailfish country! I hope everything is going well for your and Nimrod! I have a strong feeling that your and my buddy, Wabostyle is going to connect to a few bluefins by the middle of this week. Details to be announced later this week.
