It's a direct entrance to Barnegat Bay.

As for the land mass it stands on ... Its at the northern end of Long Beach Island (LBI) at Barnegat Inlet

Here is a couple of pics of Oak Island Lighthouse. Since The US Open King Mackerel Tournament which annually has about 500 boats competing I would say something with a king mac would be good.

We catch African pompano,Mahi,kings,AJ's,barracuda,cobia,and a multitude of bottom fish out there.
