Idea for a yellowfin teaser of NC

Got to thinking this past weekend of trying my old shower teaser by Eye Catcher for YFT. Only one modification though.

This would consist of the shower teaser followed closely by double offset moldcraft blue crystal/clear chuggers 5" with a purple and black squid skirt tucked in behind it with a hookless ballyhoo bridled into it. My thoughts here are I have been seeing alot of small flying fish (shower teaser to simulate these)the past couple of years with bigger flyers mixed in (moldcraft chugger/skirt/ballyhoo here). Had even thought about adding some trimmed down purple/black skirts to the flash zingers on the teaser arms.

The purple and black skirt inside the chugger looks very much like a flyer. If you see one whole and out of the water, there seems to be right much purple and black toward the top of the back that fades into blue then silver.

I know I may mess myself up with a bait out and no hook in it. But I was trying to think of something that would look similar to the blue crytal witch/ballyhoo and give an appearance of a larger school of flyers because of the teaser and the witch baits as opposed to squid chain and witch baits.

Any thoughts here good or bad would be appreciated, thanks.

Those Eye catcher shower thingys are awesome. If it strictly a teaser I might try also adding a small blue bird way up the line so it barely hits the water, maybe every 5 seconds or so. You can reverse crimp a small dropper with about a 10 inch drop. Just a thought.
