Once you get to know the man you will realize he don't have a negitive bone in his body. He will make something special out of everthing he touches. The HUG Now I'm usually not big on MAN HUG'S but with him it's sure different it's part of the deal. The smile the kindness and man he makes me laugh. If you can't get alone with him you have a problem cause it ain't him. I hope you like many of here have found a frien for life.

Having fished with Marty 3 times over the past 2 years, I've realized that he is a good man. Marty's interest in teaching comes from the heart. In many ways he's larger than life, but no doubt a good Carolina gentleman.

I am looking forward to meeting Wahoonbox next month. I will be taking the rigging class and hopefully if the weather is good try to do some fishing. Always has gone out of his way to answer my pain in the ass questions threw PM's or whatever. Even if we don't get to fish, I think that just the experience of meeting him will be worth the trip itself. Can't wait for Jan. 9th.

Marty does a great job in his rigging class but do yourself a favor, take your camera and take tons of pictures. Take pictures of everything, even if you don't think you need it, take a picture anyway. You will go over so much stuff, just the pictures alone will help you remember what you talked about.

You will enjoy every minute of it.

And yea Box is a class act.

I met Box this past summer in OC MD.I only talked to him for a few minutes and must say,he was nothing like I had pictured him to be.I was thinking that this guy is a somewhat rude arrogant know it all by looking at his posts over the last couple years with all those caps.I was very surprised to find Box to be quite the opposite,he was very polite to all around and just a fun person in general.Since then I have grown to not form any opinions of anyone on a web site forum until I meet them in person [insert sir postsalot] and I urge others to do the same.With that said,there is a network here thats second to none when it comes to help in any situation,not just limited to fishing.As an example last season there was a weather front that was heading towards OC and I couldnt be there so I started a thread asking for help and was astounded by the reply's and PM's as members here that didnt know me went out of their way just to help,and to them I am thankful.I havent met you yet Key Lime Pie although my slip in OC is only about 5 away.

Met the BOX here on the docks in Cape May Last August. I have to say he is a man with a big personality and a bigger heart to go with it. Definitely one of the good guys. Maybe the next time I run into him he will let me buy dinner.

I 2nd everything mentioned about BOX! I met BOX at his rigging class and a true pleasure it was indeed! Key Lime Pie summed things up very well!

Marty has a heart as big as the oceans and the kindness of a gentleman that you don't see in a person too often anymore.

dunn - you'll learn alot from the class...like rarhomes (Rick) said (I attended the class with him too), take lots of notes and pictures...I took lots of notes but not many pctures cause I thought I would remember things from my notes...wrong...i ended up asking rick to send me pictures!
