I hope your prop enjoys my line.

Decided to head down Thursday for a long weekend and maybe wet a hook. My usual fishing buddies bailed on me so without a boat I decided to do a little bank fishing. Fishing along the entrance to the wildlife ramps I pretty much had the place to myself. I had two lines in the water and all I caught was a skate, shark, pinfish and a decent grunt. I had walked up from my rods to chunk my net to catch some more live shrimp. I looked up and noticed a boat meandering along my side of the bank so I figured just in case the idiot continues his present course instead of using the other 60 yards of water i might ought to head back and reel my lines in just to be safe os he doesn't snatch them out of the ground. As I got back to my rods I saw he was just about to my lines and as luck would have it I hooked a boat. I yelled at the guy but he just ignored me. After failing to snap the line off close to his boat I had to cut my line. I just hope the idiot enjoyed getting all that line out of his prop.

You can say that again, I'm shocked that I didn't here of any bad accidents on July 4th. We saw some real DA's out there.

    Robja,

Had the same thing happen to me Thursday too, never had it happen before then. I was working a wreck and a charter boat came in to the same wreck. Well I had a Stretch 30 a good way's back and dag gone it ,if he didn't catch it. I know it wasn't intentional, it happen's. But he ended up with a Stretch 30 and a crap load of braid in his prop. I'm pretty sure that braid won't be too good for his cutless bearing. Frank

Can you believe it, I was cruising in a marked channel and some guy had his line out there. Wrapped all up in my wheel

    Just kidding.
