    I got my tower

Well, it aint pretty, but for the price it will be worth it. This is my Wellcraft V20 and I didn't have the budget to get some fancy nice looking one built for it (quoted for $3100). So I did some searching here on SPF and a guy told me about one in Delaware. So I rode up and got it for $250 and $100 in gas. It needed a little fab work so I had my buddies machine shop do it and add on 9 rod holders and this is what it cam out looking like. I didn't really know how to design it because my boat is a dual console and this cam off a sport fisherman or similar. So far the price is $1150, I just need to add a floor in the top of it, any ideas? The top is detachable so it rides at 13ft down the road. I figured out that my eye level will be at about 15ft off the water in a 20ft boat, hard to beat. Now I'm ready to go spot come cobia.

How much weight did it add to the boat?
I hope it does not become too unstable

The tower weighs about 125lbs, I can pick it by myself easy. My wife and I put it on. The boat on the other hand is a rock. It weighs 4500lbs, about twice as heavy as most center consoles in that length, I'm not worried about sticking 200lbs up there, but since I am doing it I probably won't let anyone ride up there while I am running.

Starboard would probably work for the floor of it

I have the aluminum to put controls, just not the money, and I am going to see if I can get by with out them, everyone is telling me no though, but I am taking it slow so I know I will get what I need and want.

Just curious, but how high are the powerlines on the way to the boat ramp? And dont forget about the gas station overhangs.

You win the HOWDEEDOODAT award for the summer...continue to post pics of this rig's adventures please.
No controls up top needed...no running with anyone up there either. I am almost speechless.
