Not to speak for Reel life, but I'd be a bit concerned as well...not so much for weight, but height/mass. She'll still catch some air and with you up on top it's going to throw off your COG big time. Not being critical just thoughts. Just stay safe!

I think the top is detachable Ace.

So I did some searching here on SPF and a guy told me about one in Delaware. So I rode up and got it for $250 and $100 in gas. It needed a little fab work so I had my buddies machine shop do it and add on 9 rod holders and this is what it cam out looking like. I didn't really know how to design it because my boat is a dual console and this cam off a sport fisherman or similar. So far the price is $1150, I just need to add a floor in the top of it, any ideas? The top is detachable so it rides at 13ft down the road. I figured out that my eye level will be at about 15ft off the water in a 20ft boat, hard to beat. Now I'm ready to go spot come cobia.
Is this the same Hillbilly that tryed to talk logic to me? Looks great, you should put that in the MA500. make a few dollars before you criticize anyone. The older you get, losers are just that. losers. good luck......

I like it Anders. Test it nice and easy and you will figure out what you can and cannot do.

Come mullet season this boat could be the queen of the fleet in Harker's Island!

I have been meaning to take a picture of the North River Yacht Club.

Hopefully I will get it this winter.

Looks great! I just sold my old V20 Wellcraft CC last year. They are the most rock solid hulls afloat.
As for the floor I would get a piece of 5/8" marine plywood and shoot it with emron or all grip and it would be good for 15 years.

    Good Luck spot them cobes,

Good Luck with the tower, Brother. It should be nasty for spotting ling and other such creatures.

I would stay away from starboard on the floor. If it was me, I would use emron painted plywood.
