I got my first boat!!!!

I finally got my first boat after getting frustrated with the MWR rental boats always breaking down. Its a 17'1" Bayliner Trophy CC. It needs a little love but so far it runs great and everything works. We ran out today for a test run before I handed the previous owner a check and caught 5 mahi. I'm thinking of naming her Shelly after my wife Michelle since she is the one that gave me the thumbs up to buy it.

Thats pretty cool. Most guys are so into how a boat rides, handles a following sea or how dry it is in chop, gotta be a first for a SFC First Boat Thread to include a sea trial covering how a boat raises fish. Congates and awesome report!
