I actually broke my net a couple months back,just like that.

Reminds me of growing up in CT as a kid. They were ALWAYS thick like that in the inlets back in the 80's. The blues and stripers would run them up tight in the small coves. When the predators came from below to feed it was the biggest explosion of fish you have ever seen. Sometimes at night it was so loud outside my window it would wake me up. Occasionally they would run out of oxygen and it would be mass death. Dead, rotten, baking, menhaden filled harbors, slips, and entire inlets sometimes. It was the worst smell I have ever smelled.

We used to pull them out of the water and toss them in the roads to watch the cars explode them MAn I had a great childhood

N Ivy. I wouldn't want to throw my Percy net on that. I don't think I would ever get it on the boat. And I really hate dumping half the net to lift it into the boat

We had peanuts like that in Keyport the last couple of years... Two years ago they all got pushed up by the blues and bass and had a big fish kill like Nauti said. Needless to say the marina smelled like crap for the month of Aug.

Oh and Hubris. I can only hope the D swarms like that this Sunday. They need to get some pressure on Warner... and the last couple of weeks they haven't been able to get at the QB very well.

I need to move south.....

My boat has only been out of the water for two weeks and I'm already going crazy
