"ALL ICE IS NOT CREATED EQUAL" & "AIR IS THE ENEMY!" & YOU DON'T CLOSE A YETI, YOU SEAL IT" ......I READ THESE QUOTES ON THE BROCHURE I RECEIVED OF THE ABDOMINAL SNOWMAN COOLER ...I MEAN THE YETI COOLER. AND HOW SO TRUE THIS IS!!! ....

THAT CUBED ICE @ 32 DEGREES IS SO WET IN THOSE LITTLE 8 LB BAGS ARE ABOUT ONE NO NOTHING ICE CUBE IMO....IT MELTS SO QUICKLY....SO THEN I GO TO YETI'S WEBSITE AND WATCH THE ENTERTAINING VIDEOS....DU HUH

OKAY...I'M SOLD.....ANY COMPANY THAT CAN WRITE SUCH A THESIS ON ICE,THE QUALITY OF ICE, AND DOES THE GRIZZLY TEST ON THEIR COOLER HAS MY VOTE....



I THEN TOOK A SHOT AT LOOKING IN THE SHIPS STORE TO CHECK AVAILABILITY... I DIDN'T SEE IT LISTED BUT I PM'd SPORTFISHSTAFF AND ASKED COULD HE GET ME A YETI AND LO AND BEHOLD THEY DID AND SHIPPED IT RIGHT OUT!

I MEAN YES IT IS EXPENSIVE BUT SO WERE THE LAST 100 OR SO DESTROYED COOLERS I HAVE PURCHASED.


AND DID YETI POSSIBLY READ MY PAST THREAD HERE ON SFC 2006 ON ME RIPPING MY SHINS SLAM OFF ON THE BUSTED UP COOLER LID FASTENERS??? THEY MUST OF...CAUSE WITHOUT A DOUBT, YETI HAS THE BEST...THE SAFEST...AND THE MOST DURABLE GRIZZLY PROOF HINGES ON THE MARKET
PALEESE, NOT THE GUILLOTINE AGAIN!





AND TALK ABOUT A PERFECT SEAL.....GEEZUS H ON A CRUTCH....THE THING HAS IT'S OWN AIR TIGHT SEALING GASKET!



NO MORE BLOODY SHINS!!!! NO MORE LIDS FALLING OFF WHILE FISHING! ...NO MORE COOLER HANDLES ROTTING OFF WHEN YOU LOAD IT UP IN YOUR TRUCK!!!!

Never figured out why coolers are made so poorly. The boys don't treat them too well though!!! Might consider moving to Yeti... Who has them on here?

I admit, mine are now a couple of years old. The latches work great, but I got mad and ripped the heavy black rubber latches off because they would destroy your hands, or anything else that rubbed against them. Heavy black smudges, that regular soap and water will not even begin to remove. I will admit though, the lids seal so good, you don't need the rubber latches, and I have not regretted removing them. Maybe they have changed the composition of the latches, if not, I see another Wahoonbox class action lawsuit coming!!!

I broke down and got one this past fall. I got the 65 quart white version and have been 100% amazed at this thing! Never seen anything hold ice like this cooler. Marty, I bet you didn't notice that the bottom is slanted so that everything runs toward the drain! No more propping the end up so that it finally decides to come out the drain plug. I also got the bait tray that is made for the 65 quart model....I think EJW has the 65 quart bait tray as well if you're inclined to get that accessory as well. I fully recommend them to you, Jaques, as well as anyone else thinking of splurging on very very well made cooler!

I have a 45Qt that my groomsmen gave me for my wedding. IT IS BAD ASS. I use it for everything. One of my buddies liked it so much he bought a 65 for his boat drink cooler. You know a cooler is good when the beer left iced down on sunday is still cold enough to drink on Friday afternoon.

I Copy Catted Box, called Prostaff Tim and did my first purchase.... That sand color Yeti would have been great to keep those Flag Beers ice cold when we used to go in the Sahara!!!
