Hello all,
It seems once a year my antics get me in trouble and into a hole that I need a backhoe to get out of it. First of I commend you all for helping in the Katrina relief fund...all efforts, big or as small as they may seem help in a great way. After a few emails to Marty, I realize that my sarcasm is not taken with a grain of salt, sorry to sound so cliche, it could be the fact that where I fish most people hate eachother and to get along it seems you have to berrate one another. I am sorry for poor taste in humor...I must say it is nice to see a group of people dedicated to a site and helping eachother out. I am going to make this short and apologize to all those I offended, especially Marty who in most cases has put up with my crap time and again.
Marty I truly am sorry...these people truly respect you and I do too! From an outside perspective it l;ooks like sometimes people are just blowing smoke up you know where, but they are not after a week or two of reviewing posts you all truly care about eachother and are truly glad to see fishing success. I commend all of you for that, it takes a lot not to be jealous of those who constantly catch. Up north here we have a severe green streak down most peoples back, including mine sometimes.
I would like to continue to contribute to this forum in a fun and informative way...But as the title reads....I leave it up to you....

One of the best pieces of advice I might extend is to "think before you type". Try to see how something may be perceived from the other side of the fence. I'm sure there are lots of things that you can contribute in a positive light...think POSITIVE...POSITIVE...POSITIVE.
No one here asks anyone to kiss their ass...period. SFC is just a VERY unique site where all opinions are welcome as long as they are expressed in the right manner.
As Murph said, I too think that it takes a big man to step up to the plate and admit his shortcomings. It's certainly not up to me whether you continue here on SFC. I think you have your answer from the Box.
Well, I was thinkin that we ought to take you out back and put some hickory to work. Then you stepped to the plate and really manned up!
Takes a lot, is noted and appreciated. This board is seperated from just about all the others because we don't play the negativity game. Here its all about positive and friendly.
We don't have to agree on everything. Shimano or penn or sufix or momoi will always be debated. Theres our way of doing things that are neither right or wrong and others are looked at that way instead of negativity. That stuff always sounds like a girl whos prom dress got wrinkled... Other sites are damn near unreadable because of it.
We have a special tight knit group here and the key word is respect. Thats what makes us doifferent. I respect you comming on here and taking the step you did to make it right... Thanks.

You have come upon a unique site indeed. I did not know how I would be accepted onto this site when I first came here. Everyone made me feel as if I have known them all of my young life. You will get into the groove just as I did.
This has become my sounding board and lifeline of sorts.
You will feel the same way just give it time. Everyone here is sincere and we all have great big hearts. My SFC family was there for me as I experienced the hurricanes and they were worried when I was sick and they prayed for my dog that was run over and survived. This is more than a “web site” this is a family.
So post up and enjoy this VERY UNIQUE family.
