I am going fishing !!!!

All work and no play makes bigfish just another number....true i escaped reality in the sticks chasing bambi around...as seen in the call me the working man thread in the hunting forum.....but on sunday i will depart my little berg at 4:15 am with 2 of my closest buddies and we got stripers on our minds. The forcast for south jersey is a little snotty for sunday morning....dead low tide is around 10:00 am which suites us just fine because i have a few dead low go to spots that usually produce....funny thing about fishing the tides, is it best to fish the best tides...absolutly...is it feasible when you have limited time and a 2 hour ride to get there and a schedule that rules out any such thought of hitting it at the prime times....NO. Since time is usually so tough to come by, let alone a favorable forcast and time to go, so i just go when i can...dam the forcast....and you know what we usually get our bids.We will be fishing a small boat, 3 of us....comrades in arms...slinging clam snot and bunker noggins...then drifting eels, no matter what the outcome it is going to be great to smell the salt air and to have the boat under my feet....if its not too nasty we may just poke around out front and drag some umbrellas and go toe to toe with the gator blues that are reeking havoc on every shad umbrella deployed into their realm......point is I AM GOING FISHING AND I AM STOKED BEYOND BELIEF. To make it even sweeter we booked a charter with the same boat that we absolutly slayed the black drum with earlier this year....great captain from cape may and a pleasure to fish with...thats the 22nd of this month and it should still be in full swing......So for a change i am living life and fully prepared to live it up....i earned it and its been a long time coming.
