    HVOO--- Best of Luck

Good luck and safe fishing to all HVOO teams.
It looks like it's just starting to lay down at bit in the last hour or so. Keeping fingers crossed for ya'll.
With the early bite thus far, this could be the best HVOO ever.

    Go get em guys!!!!!!!

I am here in the office today chomping at the bit. We decided to lay today. I hope we made the right choice. I was surprised that 39 boats fished today. I packed my crash helmet and harness for Friday. I will be on the Tyler II.
    Good Luck to all.

There are two hookups so far, one was lost and the other is still in progress.

Any fish caught should be great considering the conditions.

Is the Island Girl that lost the fish this AM the same boat that tore the blues up in the Mid atlantic 500?

The Island Girl is Jeff Quidley's boat. He is a local born and raised Buxton boy and one hell of a billfisherman. He lost a double on the first day. I don't think it is the same boat as the Mid 500, unless it could be fished from Hatteras. Last year he released the first blue in the Big Rock tourney. I look for him to get on the board tomorrow.

The next bite on a jig.
My buddy just called me with a foul weather report. They sat out yesterday and today.

Apparently the Sea Striker took one over the top about 15 miles offshore and blew out some curtains and bent some supports on the top.

He said it was so bad coming back through the inlet, that some of the charter captains were making the parties put on their PFD's for ride back through.

Well another buddy of mine just called and said somebody rolled one over out there today and they are being towed back.

I wasn't able to confirm the above rumor about a boat roll and believe it to NOT be true. But it has been too long for me to edit it.
