Some tree huggers shouldn't breed or breathe! People have been doing it for years and years! Great catch, that's a slob you got there.

I've had many of them on the line, sometimes 6 or 8 at a time. They're usually on the line for hours on end before I can bring them into the boat. I didn't know they were good to keep, I would usually just toss them back once I pulled them in.

That's something to be proud of, glad you got it on film.

Thats the problem. Just ask any old-timer offshore fisherman, the fishery is not like what it used to be and if we dont need to be killin fish then why? i mean thats just my opinion, you can do what ever you want, you might think that killin a few fish every now and then isn't doing anything, but just think about all the people down where you're at thinking the same thing. If more people start to practice catch and release it will start catching on, its not immediately going to help, but in the long run it will absolutely help. don't u love those days when you can go out catch 3-4 marlin? from my understanding, it was like that just about everytime you went out about 40 years ago. go ahead, ask an old salt, he'll tell you the same thing.
