    I used them for a few years, they did open up often enough to loose a few lures. We started taping them closed, PITA but it was 100%.

    Reguarding the single vrs double ring. I tried to save wieght on the line out of the water so I switched to single rings, it was an awful idea as they often came up cocked.

    I really like them, but some of the loop protectors won't fit, then it gets to be a real pain.

    The guys I fished with in Hawaii used corkscrews like below - they work great and these guys catch some big fish...
