How Can It Get Any Better?,

Stopped by the boat this afternoon and it's almost done. She look's Jammin! So I get settled into the shop, got by "best girl" Stevie Nicks singing next to me on the CD player (my wife picked up the CD somewhere, cause all I have is an old LP and no player that works now. Yes I still have 8 tracks too!) and start re-spooling and oiling up my stuff. I feel like a 20 year old on his honeymoon, I'm ready to go baby!!!!!! Frank

    Oh Yes Robja,

There is a boat. Mine un-like Ace's, floats without the need of "magic fairy" dust. Poor, poor Ace, the brunt of mean old bully jokes, from folks like you! One day he's gonna make you eat those word's, he told me so just last week! Frank

I'm sure there is a boat - I'm just trying to figure out how you keep the needle on the turntable from skipping in 3 to 5 footers...

I imagine you still have 78s.

    clt-capt,

finally a question I can answer! Learned long ago, that if you secure the turn table to a piece of 3/4 plywood that is suspended from the ceiling, it be jammin'. Bore a hole in each corner, run a rope through it and nail the other end to the cieling rafters. There you have it! Any more questions? Frank

How do you crank it with the whole unit swinging from the ceiling?
