Got to Breton Sound approx. 6 o'clock and saw two other boats at the launch. I thought to myself, I know I set my clock forward but where is everybody? Nonetheless we ran down the spoil canal and made a few quick drift to no avail. One thing I did notice that the knats were out in full force!!! I tried skin so soft but it was like honey to them and we got swarmed even more Actually had to start the boat a few times just to get some air in my lungs and not a bug. The water was green and I knew it wouldn't be long til they started coming over the sides. Made a stop in Lake Robin and non stop action for about an hour, too bad that for every 5 we would catch we would finally get a keeper. It didn't matter to me b/c my buddy Eric had brought his 9 yr old son and he was having a blast. At one point he said Dad I have to stop my hand is hurting. We probobly caught 75 trout but came home with 30 fryers. Final tally keep were 30 troutskies and 3 reds. All fish were caught under a cork with a chartreuse beetle. Always glad to get on the early trout bite in March, from here it will only get better!!! Here are a few pics from the trip.

I can't wait to get back down to Buras for some trout action. I have never fished Hopedale but it sure looks like funspeaking of blast, do you mind pming me your #? Somehow it got deleted off my bb. Next weekend my friend!

Mike, I can't wait til next weekend!!! I've been buttering her up the last two weeks I surprised her last week with a dozen red roses delivered to her work Today I get home from fishing and she tells me that she tried to bring my 2 1/2 yr old son to go see the Easter Bunny and he wouldn't have anything of it. Well, would you like to see if I can try my hand at it hunny? Off to the mall we go and Voalla!!! Not the best pic but not a screaming kid pic!!! What can I say I love it when a plan comes together.

Now...about the rabbit... The little guy is NOT happy! I don't blame him. The rabbit looks like something out of a horror flick! Why is it that the Easter bunny always looks so friggin sadistic? Good luck on your upcoming adventures.
