Great catch! That is the way to explore. I hope to be doing some exploring soon up off Morehead. It is killing me seeing the weather like it is and the fishing reports. Of course I do have to remember that the reports are from some awesome expert fishermen. If I could only have half as good a day when I go.

One quick question, what depth were you in for most of the gags? and Reds?

Most of our fishing comes in depths from 90-115 feet. You'll find all 3 species in these depths--gags, reds, and scamps. Knowing what you are looking at on your bottom machine is the most important thing in this game. Small finds usually lead to huge rewards.
