The HOO Family is in Town

After a great day on the water with Capt. Lee (Gottaflylee) and Alex (unoyankeefan) on Friday and a really nice day on the water Saturday with Matt (JMS-ILM) as well my friend Chris Hasty. Alex, myself and our mutual friend Ed Bartlett decided there was still a small window of opportunity in the weather before the next blow. We left the dock yesterday morning at around 6:30 with Wahoo on our mind. We headed south east toward the break. There was a stiff breeze on the way out and little bumpy but fishable. As we got closer to the fishing spot it really laid down for us. We fished for about and hour with nothing and then Big Daddy HOO knocked on the door and we were there to answer it. We picked away at the rest of the HOO family on the same spot all day and never moved more than a mile or two form were we caught the first fish. We missed one sail and a couple more on the planer but ended the day with four nice Wahoo. Thanks Dr. Bartlett for the ride and thanks Alex for the help in the pit.
