Homemade teasers

I remember a post from last year about a homemade teaser using a sprite can and 13" squid skirt with pics. Anyone remember that one and possibly have the instructions and/or pics? Thanks in advance

Chuck Mosley (original owner/ Capt. of the Hooker in OI) would pull an old style Coca Cola can for his White Marlin teasers in the mid 70's. Just the can with an egg sinker in it--- had to be a Coca Cola can though.

i read once on a bet someone teased up a blue suit with a string of flip-flops. i think i read it in marlin magazine or something. it had to have been comical to say the least.

I've told the story before but its been a long time... I was working the pit on a Bimini trip some years ago. Late May and it was hot as hell... My partners shoes stunk so bad they could make onions cry. After a couple days of ingesting diesel fumes and the occasional slap in the face from that stench I took them right off his feet, clipped them off to a couple 9/0 senators and ran em in the wash for a wash...
I don't think they had been out for 30 seconds when I head one reel's clicker going...
I looked over to see a large purple shadow having at it. Since it was right in the wash I can't be certain if it was a mako or blue but the shoe eyelet let go and the rod stood straight.
So for the rest of thatless than stellar voyage my buddy was operating one shoe short of a pair. At least it smelled better...
