Way to tell him BOX. LL You can eat the big kings a couple of times a month with no problem. Now if your pregnant You might not want to eat them. The smaller ones taste better anyway. Can't be too much mercury since most of the kings sold commercially end up in the northeast and I haven't heard of many people dying from mercury up there.
Any knowledge of mercury is dorado’s , tunas or wahoos in the pacific side.
Here in El Salvador, I haven’t heard about any mercury on fish, the only thing that people talk about is the red tide( when it happens)

Thanks guys. We caught these fish near the horseshoe. There has been a great bite the last couple of weeks, and hopefully it will continue. I've got a few more pics of kings and nice sharks from the last couple of days, and will post a report in a little while. As far as the mercury goes, as long as you don't eat king more than 2-3 times a month, you should be fine.
