Holden Beach Kings and Mahi

We went back to the horseshoe today with great results. We started out pulling live bait, but wasn't getting bit real hard, so I switched a couple of livies out for dead cigar minnows, and it was on. The king mackerel were hitting the cigar minnows within 30 seconds of hitting the water. We also had 2 15-18 lb. mahi and 2 slinger mahi. Total tally for the day:
18 king makerel and 4 mahi. My customers are supposed to e-mail me pics, so I'll post them when I get them. We're heading back again tommorow, so stay tuned.

Today was about like yesterday, with the exception of no mahi. We ended with 18 king mackerel again. The boat owner got pics of the fish, and I will get them from him tommorow. I don't have a trip, so my first stop is to get a new camera. I'm tired of having to rely on others for pics. Robja, the bite has been pretty good at lighthouse rocks, the sharkhole, and the 65 ft. hole as well. Go get'em this weekend. I'll be back on the water thursday through at least monday, so stay tuned.
