Box, I hope you don't mind me posting a commercial report in your world, but here goes. Yesterday, we made a commercial king mackerel trip. Started out at the Horseshoe. It wasn't 10 minutes after we put the spoons in the water, it was on. We had 23 head, in between 8 and 18 lbs. in the box by 11:00. The bite died there, so we pushed offshore about a few miles and put them back in. We worked the line of rocks starting about 8 miles inshore of Frying Pan Tower, all the way to the tower. We managed 13 more by 4:30, as well as 26 false albacore, then headed for the hill. All in all, not to bad of a day. We're going to try it again on Thursday, as well as try for a bft for a couple of hours first thing in the morning. Going past the knuckle buoy on the way out, it looked good. Gannets, bait and porpoise's everywhere. Who knows, our number may just get called. This front that is pushing through this evening may just fire it off. Good look to everyone fishing the rest of the week.
