Holden Beach Fishing Report 9-18-09

Friday, Jason Wheatley, Al Davis and myself headed out in search of King Mackerel. We went to the south fishing the 70 ft hole, jungle, hammer, and back in to the 90's. The bite was slow for numbers, but we did have some nice fish, with a couple in the mid and upper teens, and one in the mid-30's. I'll post pics as soon as I get them off my camera. On Saturday, I had Zack Shackelton and Jeff Reid on board. We tried to find some fish on the beach, but I guess it's still a couple of days early. We had one king mackerel on, and pulled the hooks right at the boat. I'll be back at it later in the week, so stay tuned.
