Holden Beach 7-22, Kings and Mahi, w/pics

Went back to the horseshoe today on a 3/4 day charter. Once again, the bite was on fire for the first little while. As soon as we got the spread out, both downrigger's went off. Double header of king mackerel. As the guys were fighting them, we drifted by a log, and both surface baits went off. Double header of mahi-mahi. 4 fish on at a time in the first 10 minutes after we slowed down. As soon as I would put a fish in the box, I would sling another bait back out and immediately hook back up. Final tally for the day: 4 king mackerel and 10 mahi-mahi. I've got a half day trip tommorrow, so stay tuned.

Very nice series of catches last few days. The Horshoe is usually very productive this time of year...

I've seen that bridge before in the pic. Now I have an idea as to where your boat is located. Looks like another great day fishing.
