HOGS and BUGS

Headed out on 7/9 for a little huntin trip to the deep on bottom dweller's rig. Well, we started poppin and grabbin at the hog farm. this is what we ended with, 6 spiney lob, 5 slipper lob, 8 hogs,2 gags, and 1 scamp... oh yeah, and a pinky. Love pullin a trigger! Had a great time Dweller!

Sweet! How did you catch the lobsters?

Well, its actualy pretty simple especialy if they are in the open. Try to drift down on top of them from behind, when you can grab them with your hands, put them in a bear hug kind of hold till you can put them in a bag. Grab the body, cause the legs will break off and the antenna's might as well. like wrestling a pointy long legged jack russell terrier!

I don't much care for them as well, but as long as you respect them and don't tease them with your catch you will be ok.. But every now and then you have to give up some of your catch to them.....Called, "Paying The Tax Man"... Thanks for the kind words MM!

Yessir boys, fine catch! That gag head-butted me knocking my mask off in 104' of water. It was a long swim to the surface "blind" while bear hugging him! Thats ok, I won the battle!
Looking foward to the next trip out. Guess we'll continue to leave rod and reels on the dock until the dive conditions worsen!
