This is the first good storm of the season. Let’s hope its not too bad. When these storms pass to the east of the Chesapeake, they empty out the Elk River at low tide and my boat sits in the mud (sludge). Two years ago, when one past to the west of the Chesapeake, the wind flooded the upper Chesapeake and the high tide was 9 feet higher than normal.
