    Hey BeagleMan, Is that You?

We went fishing out of Low Falls today. We had the limit of bream(60),
8 catfish(big fish was 8#), and 7 craw fish. The craw fish made a nice addition to the beaufort stew we made this evening!

On the way home from fishing we had to stop by the local grocery store and get a few things for the stew. We were fixing to pull out the parking lot when some one spoke out, "Hey BeagleMan, is that You. And you are BeagleWoman". He had learned of us on an INTERNET FORUM! This is the first time someone whom we have never met has come up and recognized us! I am glad he was friend and not foe!! We talked with Harvey and his son for some time right there in the parking lot. I showed him the days bounty and we headed home to get the stew cooking.

We swapped numbers, and hopefully we will get together and fish one day. Nice to meet you Harvey!

Thanks. The craw fish were good. I called someone with a trap today. I hope we can set it next time we fish and catch more of them. Tedious work catching them on a rod and reel!!

And usually I let a neighbor cook the coon for me. She has more experience. Plus she rewards me with a pie whenever I drop one off to her. No telling what kind of pie, sometimes sweet potatoe, sometimes coconut, apple, and even a pecan one once. I will take pics when she cooks the next one and post them.

I do have a friend who has cooked possum that i brought him. I did not stick around for the cooking, and don't plan on it. his family said that he made possum tacos. Maybe if he does it again I can take a few pics just to show on here.

I AM TRULY FLATTERED AND EMBARASSED AT THE SAME TIME

SORT OF COOL TO MAKE FRIENDS ALONG THE A WAY AIN'T IT BEAGLE FAMILY....

I SAY THIS WITH ALL HUMBLENESS BUT I HAVE BEEN ON I-95 NORTH AND HAVE BEEN FLAGGED DOWN BY A PASSING MOTORIST AND SHARED CONVERSATION WITH THEM ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD

I ONCE GOT OUT OF AN INDY CAR IN A MYRTLE BEACH AMUSEMENT PARK AND SOME GUY IN THE LONGLINE CROWD HOLLERED OUT "ARE YOU WAHOONBOX?"

MY DOORBELL HAS RUNG AT THE EL CRIBO WITH STRANGERS ( A FAMILY OF FOUR) ASKING IF THIS IS WHERE BOX LIVES....

THE OTHER DAY WE PILED A MESS OF MAHIS ON THE DOCK....THERE WERE ABOUT 20 OR SO TOURISTS HANGING OUT WATCING THE DAYS CATCH BEING UNLOADED..

BACK IN 05....I WENT TO ARAPAHOE NC TO PICK UP SOME BAIT FOR THE BEAST...CLICK THE LINK AND SEE WHAT HAPPENED: http://www.wahoonbox.com/videos/arapahoe.wmv

I WAS TOTALLY FRAPPED OUT...HOT AND TIRED FROM THE TORRID SCHEDULE WE HAVE BEEN RUNNING...AS I TOSSED THE LAST MAHI TO THE DOCK , I HEARD ONE SOFT VOICE IN THE CROWD WHISPER TO HIS FRIEND : " THAT'S WAHOONBOX THERE....BUT I DON'T SEE NO WAHOO IN THE BOX"

BEAGLE WOMAN....I LOVE YOUR LIFESTYLE...I LOVE YOUR WRITINGS FOR THEY ARE REAL AND FROM THE HEART

YOU ARE TRUE CELEBRITY. AND BE PROUD OF IT.

    ROCK ON....

Wahoo, funny you should relate those stories. When we pulled out the Parking lot I turned to BeagleMan and said, " I bet Wahoo gets this everyday!"

Up till now just my friends and family have come up to me with comments about the online forum posts that I make. It was kind of cool, it give us and Harvey something to go home and talk about anyways. We don't mind sharing our fishing spots or methods so one day I think Harvey, his friend, BeagleMan and I will go fishing. I think everyone should experience fishing as we do it and love taking those who wish to go. Also Harvey has some prime land that he says is loaded with coons. Maybe he will guide me on a coon hunt! It would be great to turn out my young dogs into an area that has no hunting pressure on them.

Harvey did go on to say that we weren't quite as redneck as he had expected!
