    Ted, it all depends how much you will use them. Most guys, wear neoprene, I like breathable as they are lighter but not as warm so I "layer" to stay warm. The breathables give me the option of dressing for the day, I really like the breathables...

    As Lee noted, I like the breathables as well. I have a pair of L.L. Bean waders that are really nice with goretex. If there is ever a problem I just ship them back for a new pair. It is a good deal!!! They have sevral options.
