HEADED TO NE, FISHING OUR WAY UP

I just got back from the WMO and spending a week in MA. Got back Fri and hooked up with Capt Dave Mason on the Monica M a commercial boat down here in MHC. He lives in ME and the Giants are starting up there. we leave O dark thirty Monday morn. Our plan is to fish up around Hatteras. Stop in OCMD for stores and fuel. Fish across the canyons, Big Eyes, YFT, BFT and do some swording at night to Cape cod, make the turn and fish to Portland. Looking fwd to fishing up there and learning some new tactics. Would appreciate any local knowledge about the bite from up there in the canyons. Just going to be the 2 of us on a 32 Duffy. I'm pretty pumped about this trip. Lots to do today after being gone for 2 weeks plus get the boat ready. Will try to keep Ya'll posted.

Wow! Im jealous! Good on ya Rick. Sounds like a heck of a gig loaded with good hard work and alot of fun fishing on the water. Take pics and have a safe trip

Good luck on your trip. Check out the NE section, a lot of canyon reports in there. Awesome weather over the last couple of days, a lot of boats went out.

Well I talked to Baywolf yesterday morning offshore and he is on his way north as I type and as usual he had already put some Hoos in the box. Next stop OC, so you guys up there take care of him!!!
