He Might Just Make It After All

I'm not much for talking about my personal / family ups and downs on the internet, but this I just have to share as many of you know my two son's:

Son #2 just called me a few minutes ago and told me his semester grades are all in ---- and----

HE MADE DEAN'S LIST!!!!!
He also declared Accounting as his major two weeks ago (much to my pleasure and advice from changing his marketing major)

The boy had a priority with the partying and babes for many a moon. This winter he duck hunted almost every day during his month long Xmas break (meaning he wasn't partying every night so as to get his ass out of the rack @ 4:00am), now he made Dean's list and declared a difficult, yet promising major.
Proud?--- yes
Relieved and thanking my lucky stars?--- you can't begin to imagine.

We just got back from his first time at the batting cage and he loved it.

Glad to see he declared accounting. I just graduated with finance and I think those two are much better to concentrate in than marketing. Good luck to him and glad to see he's balancing the hunting and fishing with school. It took me a couple of years to get that right but it's all over now
