The biggest problem is the lack of good information and solid science. None of us can tell the future, and just like many things in this country, there is a lot of politics involved with fisheries.

There is some hope in some circles that the new registry will bring more accurate information about rec angling to managers. There is also fear that the new "better" info will bring further closures and shut downs to fisheries.
