Fished Hatterass yesterday, SE of the rockpile in 125 to 150 fthms. Tuna bite was early am on witches with ballyhoo, lots of marlin seen , caught 1 wm on chartruese witch in the afternoon, spreader bar seemed to help bring the tunas up. I think the dolphin were further south from us. Water was 79 - 81 where we were.

sea witches and med ballyhoo. blue/ white, green, purple and pink to name a few.
They are catching a few tunas so I'd go with 100-130 florocarbon wind on leaders. Most people will tell you florocarbon is not needed but I think it helps for YFT, just my opinion.
Pull 7-8 line. you never know when the tuna might hit you and you could make your day with one good cover up.
There should plenty a gaffers and they will hit almost anything that swims. All you have to do is find them.
Talk to some of the Capt. and mates at Hatteras Harbor or Teach's Lair. All that I have met have been very helpfull with numbers and other tips.
Good luck,
Byron

I think Admin is going to let me have this space
What Marty Said,
Keep it simple, plenty of fish around. Hardest part is getting there. Most of the time inshore or offshore Hatteras is hard to beat. Frank
