SUN: MADE SURE WE WERE THE FIRST BOAT TO THE GROUNDS LINES IN 10 MIN'S LATER HERE THE COME VW BUSES FLYING ACROSS THE WATER 5 RODS DOWN WE GO 2 FOR 5 KILL THE FIRST ONE UP 160LB...RELEASE THE OTHER 170 OR SO..20 MIN'S LATER SINGLE RELEASE 170 OR SO AGAIN..20 MIN'S LATER DOUBLE BREAK ONE OFF RELEASE THE OTHER 150 OR SO..20 MIN'S LATER WE HOOK A SINGLE SEE THE MARKS DROP THE JIGS AND HOOK 3 MORE BREAK OFF TWO ...WE RELEASE THEM BOTH THE TROLLING FISH FIRST THE JIG FISH TOOK A LITTLE LONGER...72 INCH'S WE GUESS ABOUT 225LB 250LBS FROM THE LENGTH AND GIRTH..PRETTY WORK TIM ON THE SKINNY STICK..THE BITE DIES OFF SO WE RUN SOUTH LOOKING FOR THE WARM WATER FIND THE BREAK 60 FATHOMS 55 TO 70 DEGREES...LOTS OF LIFE FEW KNOCK DOWNS NOTHING TIGHT SO WE DROP THE ROCK PILE AND FINISH THE DAY WITH JACKS ,BONITO AND BIG SHARKS...THE BLUE FIN WE CAUGHT WERE IN 140 FATHOMS ON THE 295 TO 310...ANOTHER AWESOME CREW ...THANKS DAVE,RUDY,TIM,JED,JIM,ROB AND ROBS BUDDY...

Pretty work. we fished saturday for rockfish and not 10 minutes after we had the lines in we had a knockdown on a stretch 30 couldn't figure out what it was and after an hour it finally showed itself. Bluefin about 120 or 130 on a tld 25 with 30lb line. Got her right up to the back of the boat and she broke off just before we could get the gaff in her didnt want to touch that line we could hear it strech the whole fight. my brother ran down towards the 300 line on sunday and fished not sure how they did though. im sure he will through a report up soon. but nice work looks like a lot of fun.
