It has begun!

Had planned to go do a little deep dropping tomorrow but plans have changed. The "Fever" has set in. Slipped out through the inlet solo in the thick fog at lunch today and battled waves of it until about 3pm. When it finally cleared out, it was on. Saw 8 or 10 and came home with a couple of nice fish. Will head back out tomorrow to see if I can put the wife on a couple. Next two days look like good conditions for sightcasting. Got a little video and hope to add to it tomorrow and Friday. Good luck to those of you heading offshore.

She went and I got some descent video. Probably saw at least 80 fish in 3 hours of looking. They were cruising in packs and they were hungry. Also saw a school of 50-70lb black drum with a couple of 30lb jack crevalles hanging out with them. Awesome sights today for sure. Will try to get the video up some time after the bite dies down. Dare I use the word "E***" to describe today? Better not. From reports I here from down your way, they are still a comin and better days may be ahead.
