Question Has anyone caught a fish on one of these?

Never heard anyone using one, has anyone had any sucess with them?
They look good and i guess they would track just under the surface making it an easy target.

Wahoo love them. Used the blue and white quite often on the short rigger. Zig-zags nicely just below the surface.

Besides I tried one years ago with NO luck, About the same time I realy started using the KISS idea and never looked back.

    I'm waiting for the verdict

    That looks real nice!

I have a couple of them in my bag and have contemplated sending one out for recon, but just have not got around to it.

so far it sounds like 50/50.

I think it might help the bait swim better during a fast troll like wahoo fishing. I gotta get it out there this year, but Sept is a long way off.

I was thinking about the sub-surface running for wahoo / Mahi, less wash out, more stable at higher speeds rough water.

i have pulled one a couple times. they work alright.

i believe we caught a couple of dolphin on them, but thats about it.

one thing about them is the bait lasts forever with them.

    (KISS=keep it simple stupid)

I have never used them myself, but a buddy uses them, and does well with them. I think the major pluses of it is it allows anyone to rig bait well and it prevents wash out.

IIRC that is the lure that George Pomerovo used to catch his record Wahoo a few years back. Personally, I like an Islander.

Isn't that the whole idea for that lure, to keep things simple and easy? They are super easy. I've pulled them a few times but only caught a few FA on them. I've never pulled them out in blue water though so I have no idea how well they would work out there.
